A dog is tied to a wooden stake in a yard. His leash is 3 m long, and he runs around in circles pulling the leash as far as it can go. If he runs around 10 times in a circle, how far did he travel?

Answer:

295.788 meters in total

Explanation:

So, the dog ran around in circles with each circle having a radius of 3 because the dog's leash was 3 m long. To find the circumference of a circle you have to multiply 2π * r so our radius is 3 which is going to be 3* 9.8596. 9 times 2pi (I'm assuming that you want pi to be 3.14?) ...3*9.8596 is 29.5788 . Now he runs around 10 times so 29.5788*10 so you get 295.788 meters he ran in total. (I'm sorry if you didn't want pi to be 3.14 and if this is wrong, pls tell me right away)
