Simplify the expression (8y-10x+18)+(6y+12x-2)

Answer: the answer would be 2x+14y+16

Explanation:

(8y-10x+18)+(6y+12x-2) we see like terms here such as 8y and 6y, -10x with 12x and final set of like terms is 18 and -2

with addition we can simply combine them such as:

12x-10x= 2x

8y+6y=14y

18-2=16

(always put x then y and then the constant(which is the number without a variable)

therfor the answer is 2x+14y+16
