Hello There!

Question:-

2 + (4 × 2) – (16 ÷ 2)

We need to simplify the arithmetic expression.

Solution:-

The arithmetic expression given may be rewritten as :-

\sf \: 2 + (4 \: * \: 2) - \bigg( (16)/(2) \bigg)

Firstly , Solve For Multiplication :-

\sf \longmapsto \: 2 + 8 - (16)/(2)

Secondly, Solve for Addition:-

\sf \longmapsto \: 10 - (16)/(2)

Simplify the Fraction:-

\sf \longmapsto \: (10)/(1) - (16)/(2)

On Simplification:-

\sf \longmapsto \: (10(2) - 16)/(2)

\sf \longmapsto \: (20 - 16)/(2)

\sf \longmapsto \: \cancel(4)/(2)

\sf \longmapsto \: 2

_____________________________________

Henceforth,The simplified form of the arithmetic expression is :-

\boxed{ \boxed{\huge\bf \: 2}}
