=> 285 - 18x = x - 152

=> 285 + 152 = 18x + x

=> 437 = 19x

=> x = 437/19 (by transposing)

=> x = 23

285 - 18x = x - 152

285 - 18x + 18x = x - 152 + 18x

285 = 19x - 152

285 + 152 = 19x - 152 + 152

437 = 19x

437 / 19 = 19x / 19

23 = x
