Graph the parabola by first plotting its vertex and then plotting a second point on the parabola.

f'(x)=2x-2

f'(x)=0

2x-2=0

x=1

f(1)=(1-4)(1+2)=(-3)(3)=-9

vertex: (1,-9)

f(x)=0

x=4 & x=-2

(4,0) & (-2,0)
