Answer:

slope =1

Explanation:

(1, 1)=(x1,y1)

(9, 7)=(X2, y2)

now,

slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

=(7-1)/(9-1)

=8/8

=1

Hey there!

Use the slope formula:

\bold{\displaystyle(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)}

\bold{\displaystyle(7-1)/(9-1)}

Simplify

\bold{\displaystyle(7)/(8) }\hookleftarrow\text{Slope of the line}

Hope everything is clear.

Let me know if you have any questions!
