You would have to divide the fraction (1/3) by the number of pizzas (3)

but…

you can’t DIVIDE fractions, so you have to use the “keep-change-flip“ method

1/3 ÷ 3

keep 1/3

change ÷ into ×

and flip 3 into 1/3 (because technically 3 is 3/1)

1/3×1/3= 1/9
