formula : area of square = Length²

  • all the sides in a square is of same measure

Length = √area of square

  • given here the area: 25y² – 20y + 4

\rightarrow \sf Length =√( 25y^2 - 20y + 4)

\rightarrow \sf Length =√( 25y^2 - 10y -10y+ 4)

\rightarrow \sf Length =√( 5y(5y - 2) -2(5y-2))

\rightarrow \sf Length =√( (5y-2)(5y-2))

\rightarrow \sf Length =√( (5y-2)^2)

\rightarrow \sf Length =5y-2
