  • Kiles weight is m
  • Product of m and 3 means m and 3 are multiplied.

So the expression till now

\\ \sf{:}\Rrightarrow m(3)

\\ \sf{:}\Rrightarrow 3m

But the required weight is 30pounds less than it

\\ \sf{:}\Rrightarrow 3m-30

  • Let m represent Mindy's weight.
  • Therefore, product of Mindy's weight and 3 = m × 3 = 3m
  • Kile’s weight is 30 pounds less than the product of Mindy’s weight and 3.
  • Therefore, Kile's weight can be represent by this:

  • 3m - 30

Answer:

3m - 30

Hope you could get an idea from here.
