Regroup terms: 0.8 - j= -0.9j + 0.76
Add j to both sides: 0.8 = -0.9j + 0.76+j
Simply : 0.8=0.1×j+0.76
Subtract: 0.76 from both sides 0.8-0.76=0.1x j
Simplify 0.8−0.76 to 0.04: 0.04= 0.1×j
Divide both sides by 0.1: 0.04/0.1=j
Simply 0.04/0.1 to 0.4: 0.4 =j
Switch sides: j= 0.4
