Answer for 1 - = x> -3
Answer for 2 I did 14x+11-31 not sure it what u meant but answer is = 14x-20,

-12 < 4x

-3 < x . . . . . divide by 4

Adding -11 to the second inequality gives ...

14x < -42

x < -3 . . . . divide by 14

Now we have ...

x < -3 or x > -3

The solution is x ≠ -3.
