first convert each fractions into improper fractions.
9 3/10 = 93/10
3 4/5 = 19/5
2 9/10 = 29/10
then, add how much he walked in both hours together,
19/5 + 29/10 = 67/10
next, subtract your sum from the total amount Apple has to walk,
93/10 - 67/10 = 13/5
lastly, convert back to mixed number,
2 3/5
