Explanation:

Tan = Opposite/ Adjacent

Tan 50 = 100/Adj

Adj = 100/tan50

Similarly, Tan30 = Opposite/ Adjacent

Opposite = 100tan30

therefore X= 100/tan 50 - 100 tan30
