2(5x-16) = 4x +34

5x -16 = 2x +17 . . . . . divide by 2

3x = 33 . . . . . . . . . . add 16-2x

x = 11 . . . . . . . . . . divide by 3

JL = 4x +34 = 4(11) +34 = 44+34

JL = 78
