DA = 24

Explanation:

the opposite sides of a parallelogram are congruent , then

CD = BA , that is

5x - 18 = 2x + 12 ( subtract 2x from both sides )

3x - 18 = 12 ( add 18 to both sides )

3x = 30 ( divide both sides by 3 )

x = 10

Then

CB = 3x - 6 = 3(10) - 6 = 30 - 6 = 24

so

DA = CB = 24
