22 and 24

Explanation:

let the consecutive even integers be n and n + 2 , then

4n = 6(n + 2) - 56 ← distribute parenthesis

4n = 6n + 12 - 56

4n = 6n - 44 ( subtract 6n from both sides )

- 2n = - 44 ( divide both sides by - 2 )

n = 22 and n + 2 = 22 + 2 = 24

The consecutive even integers are 22 and 24
