The line straight down the middle is splitting that line in half
And you use the Pythagorean theorem to find x. 13 is the hypotenuse=c and 8 is another leg=a and x will be another leg =b c^2=a^2+b^2

X=5 The radius is 13. Subtract 8 from 13 to get 5.
