since 2 is less than 5 it can't round any farther, unless you are rounding it until it's a whole number (which obviously as asked in the question you aren't) if you were to round it to a whole number then it would be just 72.

One of the most important things to remember is that 5 or greater you add one more but 4 or less you, well you don't add anything to the next number lol

The answer to your question is 72.02 since that is how far you are able to round without going past the hundredths place.
