Given :-

  • A equation 3x - y = 3

To Find :-

  • The value of y intercept .

Answer :-

The given equation is ,

\sf\longrightarrow 3x - y = 3

This is in standard form , on converting it into slope intercept form we have ,

\sf\longrightarrow y = 3x - 3

As we know that the slope intercept form of the line is ,

\sf\longrightarrow y = mx + c

  • Where c is the y intercept .

So on comparing , we have ,

\sf\longrightarrow y intercept = -3

Hence the required answer is -3.

Answer:

  • (0, -3)

Explanation:

Given line:

  • 3x - y = 3

The y-intercept is the point of intersection with the y-axis, when x- coordinate is zero:

  • 3*0 - y = 3
  • - y = 3
  • y = -3

The y-intercept is (0, - 3)
