Todd and his friends are painting 5 equal sections of a wall. The wall is 10 feet tall, but its length is unknown.

Each section will be a different color, so they need to know the area of each section.
so , i said 5/10x area = length * width A=10*x a= 10x
then i said you should divide , next i said 10x/5 10x in five sections is 2 in each q1 said area 10*x but x=2 so 10*2=20 is this correct?

I believe so because if you are finding a area you do length x width
