(c) zero population growth

natality - birth rate

mortality - death rate

  • when birth rate and death rate are equal. the population remains constant and does not change.
  • nor increase nor decrease.

For example, the birth rate in a country is 500 and death rate is 500. both balanced. 500 - 500 = 0, zero growth in population.
