Answer:

f(x) = - 2x + 1

Explanation:

The equation of a linear function in slope- intercept form is

f(x) = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

Calculate m using the slope formula

m =
(y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2)-x_(1) )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (- 1, 3) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (2, - 3) ← 2 ordered pairs from the table

m =
(-3-3)/(2-(-1)) =
(-6)/(2+1) =
(-6)/(3) = - 2

The function crosses the y- axis at (0, 1 ) ⇒ c = 1

f(x) = - 2x + 1

Answer:

its the first one on the list bc when x is 0 you get f(x) = 1 and thats the only fjnction that does that with all of them.
