We know that f(x) = 12x + 12

f(1) = 12 * 1 + 12= 24

f(0) = 12*0 + 12 = 12

The formula of the average rate of change is : f(1) - f(0) / (1 - 0)

(24 - 12) / 1 = 12/1 = 12

So the average rate of change is 12

Good Luck
