Answer:

±sqrt(y-4) = x

Explanation:

y = x^2 + 4

Subtract 4 from each side

y-4 = x^2+4-4

y-4 = x^2

Now take the square root of each side

±sqrt(y-4) = sqrt( x^2)

±sqrt(y-4) = x
