The midpoint formula is ((x1 + x2)/2, (y1 + y2).
x1 = -2
x2 = 4
y1 = 4
y2 = 8
(-2+4)/2 = 2/2 = 1
(4+8)/2 = 12/2 = 6
This means that the midpoint is (1, 6).
Hope this helped!
