1. It can affect the way they are feeling 2. Choose another route to take say if it’s rainy then car rather than walking 3. Choosing a different destination. Park vs museum

Answer: Ok , so if the story is set on a cold stormy day , that makes the character feel sad. Another setting is a hot summer day. That makes them feel very hot and happy. Lastly lets say this time it is a snowy setting , the character could feel cold and exited to see the snow.
