The ratio of apples to oranges are 7:5. There are 264 total apples and oranges. How many oranges are there?

Answer:

You can add the ratio and then divide it

so 7+5=12

And then 264/12 = 22

Now we multiply each ratio By 22

22*7 = 154

5*22=110

So 154 apples

110 oranges
