Answer:

Miko must give 14 books to Cheko.

Explanation:

As the question says, the ratio of C to M is 5 : 12. And M has 48 books.

C : M

5 : 12

( M has 48 books so multiply both sides with 4 )

C : M

20 : 48

Now, we know that the total number of books is 20 + 48 = 68.

We want the same number of books for each person, thus, 68 ÷ 2 = 34.

How many books must M give to C?

48 - 34 = 14.

That is the answer.

I hope it helps.
