REASONING How can you tell what exponent to use with the 6 when writing 2,682,943 in expanded form with exponents?​

Scine the 6 in that number represents 600,000 and there are five 0's after the 6, this means it would be 6 x 10^5.

The 6 was moved five place values from it's usual 6 place in the one's column.
