What was bleeding Kansas... does it have to do with the Kansas-Nebraska Act?

Bleeding Kansas was a small civil war in the United States that was a fight between pro-slavery advocates and anti-slavery advocates. The Kansas -Nebraska Act repealed the Missouri Compromise, created two new territories, and allowed for popular sovreignity. The Kansas - Nebraska Act caused the Bleeding Kansas battle.

Hope this helps!
