Which EQUATION shows the relationship between the weight of the
apples, in pounds, and the cost of the apples, in dollars? *
O y = 15x + 10
O y = 1.50x
O y = 15
O y = 10x
O y = 10x + 15

Answer:

Probably y = 1.50x

Explanation:

if x is weight and y is cost of $1.50 /lb

It could also be

y = 10x

if x is weight and y is cost of $10 /lb, but that seems a rather steep price for apples.

The equations y = 15x + 10 and y = 10x + 15 would have very expensive apples at $15 or $10 per pound plus a fixed bagging service fee of $10 or $15.

y = 15 means you could get no apples or an infinite amount of apples for the same price of $15. Or, if y is the weight of apples, then 15 lb are available and we have no idea of price.
