Ogyges. The Ogygian flood is so called because it occurred in the time of Ogyges, a mythical king of Attica.
Christian flood myths
the Judeo-Christian story of the wrath of God, a great flood, and the repopulation of the earth. While not all flood stories are the same, the description of the destruction of the world by water is a common theme in many religions and cultures. Most flood stories include an angry God or deity, and a catastrophic water event that destroys the world but is only survived by a chosen few.
Hindu flood myths
The Manu flood myth comes from Hinduism. He is considered the first man created by the gods. He was brought to earth in the India region. He was all alone on the boat through the flood but was blessed with a wife after the water resided away, and they began to repopulate the world. The flood was brought by the gods.
