Explanation:

To find how much grain the cylinder can hold you must find the volume of the cylinder. To do this we use the equation, V = π(r)(r)h

Otherwise known as Volume = pi * radius squared * height

According to the image we leave pi in its symbol form π, our radius is 4 and our height is 11 so all we have to do is plug that all in.

V = π(
4^(2))(11) We now follow PEMDAS and deal with the exponent first

V = π16(11) Now we multiply all the terms

V = 176π

All thats left is to add the units, it is in Inches since that's what the picture gave us, and its cubed because it is inches multiplied three times (twice for the radius, and once for the height)
