If 80​% of the registered voters cast 388,800 votes in an​ election, how many registered voters are​ there? Use pencil and paper. In another election 90​% of the registered voters cast 437,400 votes. How do the number of registered voters compare in the two​ elections?

You want to cross multiply. So:

388,800 x 100%= 38880000

38880000/80%= 486,000 voters.

For the second part you subtract 437,400-388,800=48,600
