What did Africans want from European countries after fighting in World War 1?

World War 1 offered the idea to the africans that their efforts to make America truly Democratic by ensuring full citizenship for all its people black soldiers who continue to serve in segregated units were involved in protest against racial Injustice on the home front. So in return for fighting in World War 1 the African got citizenship in America.
