Answer:

1(6)/(49) or
(55)/(49) or 1.12

Explanation:

0.8+(5)/(7) * (3)/(7)

First find 0.8 as a fraction

0.8 =(8)/(10) = (4)/(5)

Now according to PEMDAS, we do the multiplication then addition, so we multiply the numerator then the denominator

(5)/(7) * (3)/(7) = (15)/(49)

Since this answer cannot be simplified, now we move to addition and find the LCD (least common denominator) which would be 245 (49 x 5)

(4)/(5) +(15)/(49) = (196)/(245) +(75)/(245)

Now we add the numerators

(196)/(245) +(75)/(245)=(275)/(245)

Now we simplify as far down as we can, which would be by 5

(275)/(245) = (55)/(49) or
1(6)/(49)

If the answer calls for a decimal, we would round to the hundredths

(55)/(49) = 1.12
