Myranda and Dave bought diapers for their baby. Myranda bought a box of 120 diapers for $24 and Dave bought a box of 150 diapers for $35. Who got a better deal per diaper?

Answer:

Myranda.

Explanation:

To find out who got the better deal, we need to find out how much money they spent for one diaper.

For Myranda, she spent $0.20 per diaper because 24 ÷ 120 = 0.2

For Dave, he spent about $0.23 per diaper because 35 ÷ 150 = 0.23333...

Since Myranda spent less per diaper than Dave, I would say she got the better deal out of the two.
