√7x-6=x-2
(√7x-6)^2=(x-2)^2
7x - 6 = x^2 - 4x + 4
x^2 - 11x + 10
(x - 1)(x - 10) = 0
x = 1 and x = 10
√7(1)-6 = 1-2 is false, so 1 is an extraneous solution
√7(10)-6 = 10-2 is true, so it is a solution.
