Veterans are amazing and brave individuals that deserve infinite praise. Thankfully, there has been a day dedicated to these heroes. Veteran’s day is a beautiful and special day dedicated to the Veterans that fought or are fighting for our country.
Veteran’s Day originated in 1918. This day was actually originally called “Armistice Day”, this name was eventually changed to the name we know now. It became an official holiday in 1938.
Veteran’s Day is actually celebrated all around the world, and rightfully so.
The personal connection of Veteran’s day is a beautiful thing that no other holiday has. Veteran’s Day allows people to focus on the great sacrifices veterans have made and make every day. It also allows family members of Veterans to have time with them.
