First find the total of the ratio:
7 + 3 = 10
Now we can divide 60 by 10:
60 divided by 10 is 6
Finally we can multiply both 7 and 3 by 6:
7 x 6 = 42
3 x 6 = 18
To check we can add 42 and 18: this gives us 60.
Answer: 42:18
Hope this helps!
