Someone living in the place/country that they were originally from/born in, and being influenced by the cultures and/or beliefs they had/have been taught growing up. This leads to them believing that their religion/culture is the best.

2. What is one reason that more people moving to cities might lead to conflicts?

People would take up more space and they would fight for the space, and they would get into fights with the people who were originally raised there.

3. As new people with different beliefs arrived in cities in the 19th century, why do you think nativism became popular?

The people who were native to the city thought that since they were there first then they were the best, and everyone else who wasnt born/raised there was not.
