When you look at the x = 0 and y = -2, that is the y-intercept since the x = 0. Then when you look at the second one, it goes right one and up four. As rise over run, it would be 4 / 1 or simply 4.The slope is 4 and the y-intercept is -2Plug it in the equation: y = mx + b. M is the slope and B is the y-intercept.y = 4x -2
