You have the right numbers for the equation but you also times the money she had in total.

The equation is x-3(44)=18

44 is the total for one daughter and you times that by three to get for three duaghters.

Then you multiply -3 and 44 which is -132.

Which would be x-132=18

Now you would move -132 to the other side which would be +132 →x=18+132

x=150
