Do you think it's a good idea for the federal government to regulate the information that is shared over social media based on the impact it has on viewers?

I believe that there are limits to what should be shared through social media, although each individual has the right to share what the please. Certain post that state or imply something that may be harmful to one’s mental or physical health should be regulated by the federal government. Although posts that are based on facts should have no reason to be removed. Along with this, posts that shares one’s opinions, whether it’s religious, political, etc., have no valid reason to be removed considering that we are all endowed the right to free speech.
