⦿ Hi There! ⦿

Point-Slope form:

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-1=m(x-(-6)

Perpendicular lines have slopes that are opposite reciprocals.

It means that if we have -1/2, we flop it over and make it positive.

So the slope of the new line is 2.

y-y1=m(x-x1)

y-1=2(x-(-6)

y-1=2(x+6)

y=1=2x+12

y=2x+12-1

y=2x+11

Hope it helps!

The slope is 2x
Y-1=2(x+6)
Y=2x+13 is the answer
