The phase of the moon corresponds to the position of the moon from the top view and the view from Earth when a full moon appears. The pattern of moon phases: new moon, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, third quarter and waning cresent. Terminator Is a line that divides the daylight side and the dark side.
