5x + 2x = 24 − 4 (x−5)
5x + 2x = 24 + (−4)(x)+(−4)(−5)
5x + 2x = 24 + −4x +20
(5x +2x) =(−4x) +(24 +20)
7x= −4x + 44
+ 4x + 4x
11x/11 = 44/11
Answer : x = 4
