Hello there!

To find the slope of a line, we need to know at least two points contained in the graph of the line.

The slope
m of a line passing through the points
(x_0,~y_0) and
(x_1,~y_1) is given by the formula:
m=(y_1-y_0)/(x_1-x_0).

As we can see on the graph, two points contained on the line are
(-2,~0) and
(3,~4).

Using the formula above, we get that:

m=(4-0)/(3-(-2))

Subtract the values on both numerator and denominator of the fraction

m=(4)/(5)~~\checkmark

This is the slope of this line we were looking for.
