Answer: it would be (a) because the Magna Carta was Witten in june 15 1215, and it prevented the king from having to much power over the law. it gave him a limit on what he could do.

The Magna Carta guaranteed that the goverment was limited on what it could do to the people, the land , and the laws of the people and land.
