Hi there!
When dividing fractions, we flop over the fraction that we divide by and multiply by it instead. Look what happens:
![(1)/(4) :(9)/(1) =(1)/(4) *(1)/(9)](https://img.qammunity.org/2022/formulas/mathematics/high-school/u5ya7x8fx86fd6ngetcxr3zzjtybgy89eb.png)
Now we multiply the numerator by the numerator and the denominator times the denominator:
![(1)/(36)](https://img.qammunity.org/2022/formulas/mathematics/high-school/nr0jwke1bzu3nto67843ax2tsgleu18nes.png)
Now we do the same thing with the following fractions:
![(9)/(1) :(1)/(4) =(9)/(1) *(4)/(1) =36](https://img.qammunity.org/2022/formulas/mathematics/high-school/5kgnkoakjpmdszzkm2nbzi8ykvfgbgvu3h.png)
Therefore, our answers are:
and 36.
Hope this helps!
